when i came here i was defiant and unruly and had no desire to follow all the rules but after some time and awesome work from the counselors and techs ive become a very different person somebody people can rely on and trust my family and child have benefited from my being here as well as myself so no complaints and much thanks to everyone involved with my recovery special thanks to HSI!!!!!

Im very impressed with how the staff and techs work with people at HSI. They care for everyone as if they are family. This place saved my life and I couldn't be more thankful for every tool and learning experience that I have gained here. I would recommend HSI to anybody that wants help and wants to save their own life.

This place is a great place to help you learn about and how addiction effects you, they will help you with the tools you need on a daily basis to stay sober, they will set you up with community support and help you get on your back on your feet... Love you Glenda and counselors for everything you have done for me

HSI has helped me become way more independent and have shown me a new way to live. I definately have had rough times but with all the counslers help I have become a better person and happily sober!!!!!!!!! I love HSI and all the counslers for what they have done for me!!!!!!!!!!!

Rehabs are typically more organized than this place, but the practices are up to date. The only alarming factor is the high turnover rate. Two counselors have been consistent staples to this facility all other employees seem to be pushed out or have enough in just a couple of months. Some people have had negative experiences with the employees, mostly they are inconsistent with their rules. Overall people can get sober, but they need to be determined.

This place saved my life. Yes the program is intense but it works. They take sobriety seriously here, it's life or death. These people will walk to the ends of the earth with you. No, it's not easy, but nothing worth having comes easy. They genuinely care about you and the goals you want to meet in life. Everybody's program is individualized. I walked into these rooms in 2010 and I've been sober and much healthier for u years now. These people literally have saved so many lives and will save yours too if you let them. I will forever have love for this place and the people here!

Reading these negetive post upsets me because they are coming from people who are close minded. These women care and save lives they help those who are wanting the help. Glenda is an amazin person and listens and understands her clients to hear people talk down on her n the other counselors is very upseting. I think hsi is a god sent

It angers me to see the childish and rude comments people have. Being in recovery takes work. Learning to not be aggressive towards others is something that is learned along with many other useful skills that a couple of the individuals posting on this site obviously did not gain due to their disrespectful behavior. HSI has helped many individuals and families get through some very tough times. You can see this displayed just by walking into the building. A lot of people have no respect for rules or even the law and this is why they end up behind bars because they think they are above the law. Structure is something that is needed in recovery. The staff at HSI especially their counselors are amazing, caring people. To you negative individuals I will pray for you because you are going to need it!

These post's make me sick this is a non-profit organization, meaning donations that come to them supply you with the help you obviously need but lack the mental capacity to obtain yourself. Beginning the program and then resenting this kind selfless staff while refusing to try the methods they are trained in after a lifetime of continuous school and sessions with clients, you apparently know every method and reasoning to your life choices that lead you to this facility. You are childish and petty for posting false rumors about people who take a beating from people such as you, and will continue after you leave that facility to help if you are willing to help yourself. These women spend most of their adult lives contributing more time to individuals who either were never given a chance or never gave themselfs a chance, then their own families who deserve their attention. They have delt with thousands of people with millions of challanges in their lives, few of which care for their opinion and expertise which leads them into a dark statistic of almost 70% relapse rate along with a close to matching death rate. The odds are frighteningly against the very common know it all client blaming YOUR problems along with your stubborn, petty, and poor me lifestyle on these Woman's methods or "bullying" will of course show your incompetence. If you cannot accept that maybe there are people who can show you tuff love and turn around and show you true compassion along with a way to a potential remedy, then do them a favor and don't ask for help. Pissing your life away through drugs or jail/prison is your choice, just remember they had a choice also. For me and any addiction in my past along with my future has full faith in that facility.

Wow, reading these negative posts makes me sick. These women save lives! They give food to needy families outside of the facility making sure that families like mine get to eat. Expired food? This is a blatant lie, we always had good meals prepared by staff. Sounds a lot like group members that choose not to follow the rules. Thank you HSI for giving me my life back.
